Car, caravan and asset finance, compared for you.

Cars, caravans, boats, bikes and work vehicles. We compare consumer and business lenders to match the loan to what you’re buying and how you’ll use it.

The advertised rate is only part of the cost of a car or caravan loan. The loan structure, each lender’s rules on the asset’s age and how it’s sold, and the way your income is assessed all affect what you pay and whether you’re approved. We handle that comparison across consumer and business lenders, so the loan fits the asset and your situation.

What we can finance

Cars and electric vehicles.

New or used, from a dealer or a private seller. Some lenders offer a small rate reduction on eligible electric vehicles.

Caravans, campers and motorhomes.

Secured against the van, or through a personal loan where the van falls outside a lender’s secured criteria. New, used or private sale, with the extra checks a private purchase needs.

Boats, motorbikes, trailers and jet skis.

Leisure assets can be financed too, as a secured or unsecured loan depending on the asset and the lender.

Work vehicles and equipment.

Utes, vans and equipment through your ABN, usually as a chattel mortgage or similar. A GST-registered business can generally claim the GST credit and running costs on the business-use portion; your accountant confirms the tax detail.

How the finance comes together

01

Tell us what you’re buying.

New or used, dealer or private, your budget, and how your income works. That’s enough for us to point you at the lenders worth applying to.

02

We match it to the right lenders.

We compare policy and pricing, and check the asset against each lender’s rules on age, value and how it’s being sold, so you’re not knocked back on a technicality.

03

Get the paperwork sorted.

ID, proof of income, and comprehensive insurance. For a private sale we also arrange the ownership and PPSR checks that confirm the asset is clear. Pre-approval is optional but gives you buying power.

04

Approval and settlement.

Most lenders sign electronically now, and some can settle within a day once documents are complete. After that, repayments run by direct debit and we stay available for questions or a future refinance.

What makes the difference with asset finance

Secured or unsecured, matched to the asset.

A secured loan usually carries a lower rate because the asset is the security, but it comes with age and value rules. An unsecured loan is more flexible and can suit an older asset or added extras. We weigh both against what you’re buying.

Age and sale-type rules vary by lender.

Many lenders cap the asset’s age at the end of the loan term, and private sales carry extra requirements. Which lender you go to changes what’s possible, which is the whole point of comparing them.

Income assessed the way it actually is.

PAYG, self-employed, sole trader, company, retiree, or a past credit issue. Lenders treat each differently, and some have paths for self-employed applicants that rely on tax returns rather than bank statements.

Every fee explained up front.

Interest rate against comparison rate, establishment and monthly fees, and any early-exit cost. If we charge a fee for arranging the loan, you’ll see it in writing before any work starts.
